Terms of Service

Last updated August 16, 2026.

1. About these terms

  1. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Foundation Compass, available at https://texasfoundationcompass.com (the “Service”).
  2. The Service is operated by:

    WebMoose

Polish sole proprietorship (JDG) ยท operator website

    Contact: hello@texasfoundationcompass.com

  3. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

  1. Foundation Compass is an independent online directory of Texas foundation-contractor profiles. It helps you discover and compare recorded listing data and then contact contractors directly. An optional homeowner-request feature can also review your project information and, in a separate later step, present named providers for you to choose from.
  2. We are not affiliated with, do not own, and do not endorse any contractor listed. A listing is not a recommendation, certification or guarantee of any provider.
  3. We are not a party to any estimate, project, transaction or agreement between you and a contractor. We do not provide booking, process payments for repair work, or provide repair services.
  4. Listing information is compiled from publicly available sources and from business owners. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that any information (including service types, hours, pricing, ratings or credentials) is complete, current or error-free.

3. Verify before you hire

The content on Foundation Compass is provided for general informational purposes only and is not professional advice. Foundation repair can significantly affect the structural integrity and value of your home. Always verify a contractor’s licensing, insurance, and any required registrations independently, and confirm the scope of work, warranty terms, and pricing directly with the contractor before signing any agreement.

4. Listings and business owners

  1. Adding a basic listing is free. Submissions may be reviewed before publication, and we may decline or remove any listing at our discretion.
  2. If you submit or claim a listing, you confirm that you are authorized to represent that business and that the information you provide is accurate and lawful.
  3. Business owners may claim, correct or request removal of a listing by emailing hello@texasfoundationcompass.com. After we verify your connection to the business, we will update or remove it promptly.
  4. Content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes the rights of others may be removed.

5. Paid listing plans

  1. Paid listing plans are optional, priced in US dollars and billed through the payment provider shown at checkout. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
  2. A monthly plan renews automatically at the disclosed interval until canceled. To cancel, use any self-service billing link supplied after checkout or email hello@texasfoundationcompass.com before the next renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise.
  3. If we cannot verify a new paid submission and therefore do not activate its paid benefits, we will refund the initial payment. After activation, charges are non-refundable except where these Terms, a written offer or applicable law says otherwise.
  4. We may change a plan or future renewal price with advance notice. You may cancel before the change takes effect. A paid plan does not guarantee publication, a particular position, impressions, traffic, enquiries, leads or search-engine results.

6. Homeowner requests and introductions

  1. You may submit a homeowner request only for yourself or with the contact person’s permission, and the information must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  2. The initial form authorizes us to store and manually review the request and to ask individual contractors about availability using only a contact-free summary: ZIP code, requested service, foundation type and timing. A listing selected through its profile is treated as the first routing preference, but we may consider another suitable contractor. It does not authorize us to disclose your name, email address, optional phone number or project description, and merely providing a number does not authorize any contractor to call, text or market to you.
  3. If a contractor is interested, we may show or email you its legal or business name. Before releasing the full request, you must separately confirm that named provider and the exact fields and purpose of disclosure. If you supplied a phone number, that confirmation may authorize only a live, manually dialed call from the named contractor about the request; it does not authorize texts, automated calls or unrelated marketing.
  4. We receive a disclosed one-time fee from a provider for a confirmed introduction. Payment does not make the provider our employee or agent and does not change your price unless the provider separately tells you otherwise.
  5. A contractor who accepts and pays for an introduction may use the disclosed request only to respond to that homeowner about the stated project. Introduction fees are arranged and verified manually outside the lead system; the lead workflow does not create a card checkout. The contractor may not send text messages, resell the request, use it for unrelated marketing, or make automated, artificial, prerecorded or AI-voice calls. A paid introduction does not guarantee a reply, estimate, sale or project. If we cannot release the confirmed request after payment, we will refund that introduction fee.
  6. We do not guarantee that a provider is available, will respond, will offer an estimate, or will accept a project. An introduction is not an endorsement, credential verification, structural diagnosis or emergency service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use automated means to scrape, copy or harvest the Service or its data beyond normal browsing;
  • submit false, misleading or unauthorized listings or content;
  • interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; or
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Foundation Compass name, design, original text and compilation of the directory are owned by the operator and protected by applicable law. Business names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You may not reproduce substantial parts of the Service without our permission.

9. Third-party links

The Service links to third-party websites (including contractor websites). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, practices or privacy policies. Accessing them is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  1. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service, your reliance on any listing, or your dealings with any contractor.
  3. Any complaint about an estimate, service, price or workmanship quality must be directed to the relevant contractor.
  4. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.

11. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when the updated version is published on the Service, and the version date above will reflect the latest revision. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, where the operator is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Where required, disputes with consumers may also be brought before the courts of the consumer’s place of residence.
